I have to admit this was purported to be Sherlock Holmes meets the supernatural and it delivers on all accounts. With a few name changes, and some paradigm shifts to account for scenery and the existence of magic, this reads like very well written fanfiction. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, much to my surprise. If you’re a Holmes fan, but not really rabid about it, you might enjoy this book! I only wish that there was more to the series. I could easily see this becoming as popular as the Dresden books, if not more.
